PT Asuransi QBE POOL Indonesia - Joint Venture Company
QBE Group first entered the Indonesia market in 1906, with agencies in port cities, and later established a branch office in Jakarta in 1913. Operations ceased during World War II, however the company re-established links with Indonesia in 1981 - in association with local insurer PT Pool Advista Indonesia.
In 1994, the two companies further formalised their solid relationship with the establishment of PT Asuransi QBE Pool Indonesia, a joint venture that operates to this day. QBE Pool quickly established itself as a leader among Indonesia's joint-venture insurers and has branches located throughout the country, to support its primary distribution channels of agents and brokers.
The company is focused on providing specialist insurance solutions to business, professionals and families in Indonesia. It has developed many new products to meet the changing needs of Indonesia's rapidly developing market, offering basic covers that are quick and easy to apply for, as well as the covers and expertise for more complicated insurance needs.
