As part of its plan for strategic growth, the QBE Group has had a presence in Vietnam since 1995, first as a representative office and then through a joint venture arrangement.
QBE further increased its presence in Vietnam through its purchase of a 100% interest in another licensed general insurance company in December 2005 and renamed it to QBE Insurance (Vietnam) Company Limited ("QBE Vietnam").
With its head office in Ho Chi Minh City and a branch office in Hanoi, QBE Vietnam focuses on providing business insurance solutions to the corporate sector.
