As part of QBE Group's strategic growth plans, the company
opened a representative office in Guangzhou in the People's
Republic of China in January 1998.
The local office provides a valuable presence
in Guangzhou and enables QBE to research and develop opportunities
in the China market.
Our local representative spends a great
deal of time liaising with the government authorities, with
local insurance companies, the Australian companies and any
companies related in the industry.
