Our BIDV-QBE team in Vietnam contributes valuable experience
to the QBE Specialist Risks Unit network. The local team includes

in a number of emerging markets, and they use their experience

Specialist

As in other operations within the QBE Asia Pacific Operations
division, BIDV-QBE is following a strategic path to offer
specialist insurance solutions in Vietnam.
At the moment, the focus is on contract
works, and we are developing professional indemnity areas
of insurance. These are very fledgling areas in Vietnam at
the moment, but BIDV-QBE takes a long-term view.
"More and
more Vietnamese business people are looking at what professional
indemnity insurance is and what it can offer them. They are
interested in what sort of protection it will give them, and
we do have the leading edge there. In fact, we have the leading
edge in liability generally, because we established our representative
office in 1995".

last six years or so, QBE has provided executive training
in liability to quite a few State companies. In fact, our
broad form liability product is the standard benchmark now
in the whole of Vietnam. QBE is proud to have introduced a
product that has helped the whole industry."
