QBE Mercantile Mutual wins "NIBA 2003 General Insurer of the Year" for 2nd year running

QBE Mercantile Mutual are proud to announce that they have been awarded the "NIBA General Insurer of the Year" for the second year in a row at the NIBA Convention held on the Gold Coast over the weekend.

On being presented with the award, Mr Terry Ibbotson, Executive General Manager of QBE Mercantile Mutual, acknowledged the support of the intermediaries who voted for the company. Mr Ibbotson accepted the award with pleasure while still noting that QBE Mercantile Mutual will not become complacent and rest on its laurels. He said they will work twice as hard in the coming year to ensure they stay in front of the pack, and are seen as "The Right Partner" to the intermediary market.

The award is a pleasing recognition of the growing presence and respect that QBE Mercantile Mutual has built up in the industry over the past four years.

For the fourth year in a row, the company's trade stand also won the "Exhibitor of the Year" award. The QBE Mercantile Mutual Marketing team have set a precedent which is proving hard to beat.
