  Making a New Claim

Step by step

  1. Make sure your policy is current.
  2. Call us immediately during office hours on 131 101 for all products other than motorcycle.
  3. Motorcycle customers - please call 1300 365 354,
    fax 1300 361 210 or email at mcclaims@westernqbe.com.au

By ringing us first, you may be able to fast-track your repair under certain circumstances.

Obligations under your policy
As an insured party, you have a major obligation to take appropriate action to limit or prevent further damage after the initial incident.

Claims Tips:

  • Report incidents such as burglaries, theft, personal injuries and malicious damage to your local Police.
  • Call the emergency claims number on 1300 361 516 for advice on local recommended repairers and tow truck companies.
  • Following a burglary in your home or in your car - secure the premises or vehicle against weather and further damage/incident.
  • If you believe your vehicle or motorcycle will be damaged further by driving it after an incident, call for a tow truck.
  • Use our recommended repairer network - your claim will proceed faster and more efficiently.
  • Perth customers - present your vehicle to the Motor Vehicle Assessment Centre at 49 Howe Street Osborne Park for immediate service. Your tow truck driver can also deliver your vehicle to this address for overnight security if an accident occurs after hours.
