Information for our customers affected by Cyclone Debbie
With Cyclone Debbie in North Queensland causing significant damage and subsequent storms and flooding across Queensland and northern New South Wales, we’re working hard to support our customers as quickly as possible.
We have initiated our Catastrophe Management Plan and have additional team members ready to take your calls and lodge claims. We’ll be mobilising our assessors, to ensure we can support you as quickly as possible should you have sustained any damage.
It’s important that you follow advice of the local authorities, to ensure the safety of yourselves and your families. We have some helpful information available on our website:
- What to do after a cyclone
- What to do during a storm
- How to prepare your home for a flood
- What to do after a flood
If you need to make a claim due to cyclone damage, please contact us as soon as you’re safe and able to do so.
While our assessors can’t enter affected areas until emergency services declare it safe to do so, notifying us of your claim as soon as possible helps us speed up the claims process to get you back on your feet sooner.
