Information for our customers affected by North Queensland floods - update

With devastating flooding in areas across North Queensland causing significant damage, we’re working hard to support our customers as quickly as possible.

We’ve initiated our Catastrophe Management Plan and have additional team members ready to take your calls and lodge claims. We’re mobilising our assessors and tradespeople to ensure we can support you as quickly as possible should you have sustained any damage.

Our Townsville office will be closed until further notice due to the severe flooding, however phones have been diverted and emails are being monitored to enable us to respond to your queries during this period.

Our thoughts are with those impacted by this event. Stay safe and we will advise further when our office is reopened.

It’s important that you follow advice of the local authorities to ensure the safety of yourselves and your families.

We’d like to refer you to some useful content surrounding preparing for a flood, staying safe during a flood, and how to safely return to your home after a flood.

Please remember

  • Always follow the advice and direction of emergency services
  • Never try to drive through flood-affected areas
  • For general help in floods and storms, ring the SES on 132 500
