Qnect Customer HKID and Passport Validation
For customer security and ensure data quality, QBE is introducing a new HKID and passport number validation on Qnect. Upon policy issuance during new business, endorsement and renewal, all new and existing customers' ID will be validated by Qnect, and only valid numbers will be accepted.
Only Valid IDs Accepted
QBE values its customers’ protection, which only a valid HKID or passport number is accepted. Please note to ensure policies can be validated with customer details, only a valid HKID number can proceed to policy renewal or endorsement. If a valid HKID is not provided upon renewal confirmation on Qnect, you will not be able to confirm the renewal via “Issue Renewal/Send Payment Link/Pay Now”. The ID entered on Qnect will be used as the unique customer identifier when customer register on our upcoming platform “eService”, allowing customers to view their policy information.
