We offer two options. QBE Home Basic provides standard cover for your building and / or contents. QBE Home Plus provides additional cover for your valuables as well as personal liability and domestic workers' compensation exposures not covered by the QBE Home Basic policy.

Policies under QBE Home Protection Insurance provide cover for the following defined events:

• explosion
• lightning or thunderbolt
• earthquake
• burglary
• vandalism
• collision
• falling tree branch or aerial device

Our Home Insurance provides the following added benefits:

• accidental glass breakage
• burning out of electrical motors (fusion)
• legal liability if you cause injury to another person or damage to third-party property
• essential temporary repairs if you have to make a repair but cannot contact us

Our Contents Insurance provides the following added benefits:

• accidental glass breakage
• spoiled food from power failure
• cost of replacing locks if your house keys are stolen
• burning out of electrical motors (fusion)
• legal liability if you cause injury to another person or damage to third-party property
• optional Domestic Workers Compensation
• cyclone cover provided by extension in Fiji and Vanuatu
