Group Medical Campaign | Extended Coverage for Coronavirus

As part of our support and attention during this difficult period, QBE will be offering complimentary extended coverage for COVID-19¹ to all QBE Group Medical Insurance members. This coverage is also extended to the members’/ employees' dependants² even who are not insured at QBE’s Group Medical Insurance Policy.

 

 

Terms & Conditions:

1. Providing complimentary extended coverage for the insured member is diagnosed with COVID-19 infection on or after 16 March 2020 and requires hospitalization in Hong Kong within the coverage period, we will provide an extra cash allowance of HK$600 per day, up to 45 days regardless of the insured members are eligible for any Hospital Confinement Cash Benefit. Meanwhile, member’s dependents who diagnosed with COVID-19 can also be entitled this benefit even who are not insured at QBE Group Medical Insurance policy.
2. Means the inclusion of each child of a Member provided such child is at least fifteen (15) days old and is under nineteen (19) years of age and unmarried or up to aged twenty-three (23) if the child is a full-time student at an educational institution and unmarried or the legal spouse of a Member aged below seventy (70).
3. Applicable for all new business of Group Health 360 & Tailor-made group medical quotation (For 1st policy year only, not applicable to renewal policy), Campaign period by policy commencement date.
