Introducing Singpass integration to client policy document download experience
We are pleased to share upcoming enhancements to how your clients access their personal lines policy documents. These improvements strengthen security, streamline user experience, and align with the latest Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) requirements.
What's changing?
We will no longer use NRIC numbers to encrypt personal lines policy documents. This reduces reliance on sensitive identifiers and enhances data protection. To make authentication more secure and user‑friendly, clients will now have multiple ways to access their policy documents. The 3 options described below will be available in the policy document email sent to your customer.
Introduction of Singpass authentication
Singpass is a trusted digital identity that allows residents to access government and business services online. It provides secure and convenient experience using biometrics or SMS Two-Factor Authentication for login. Look out for the "Authenticate with Singpass" button!
Direct Login to the Customer Portal
Clients may also choose to log in using their existing Customer Portal credentials to view their policies and download the relevant documents.
One-Time Password (OTP) Authentication
For clients who prefer not to use any of the options above, they may request an OTP to authenticate themselves and retrieve their documents.
Things to note
These changes apply exclusively to personal line products such as Personal Accident, Home, Travel and Motor Insurance. At this stage, you may wish to inform your clients about the alternative login options, and direct them to Contact Us if they face access issues.
