Telemedicine for Chinese Medicine Practitioner Extension
Malpractice Liability Insurance for Chinese Medicine Practitioner
During the epidemic, we recognise that several patients decide to stay away from hospitals or clinics to avoid infection, albeit they need to seek medical treatment or attend follow-up consultations. Consequently, telemedicine has become more popular as an alternative route to seek healthcare advice.
With effect from 10 March 2022, as part of our support and attention, QBE Hong Kong will be offering Telemedicine for Chinese Medicine Practitioner Extension for our existing Malpractice Liability Insurance for Chinese Medicine practitioner.
Please refer to the limit and respective additional premium for your easy reference.
To apply this extension for the existing policy, please send your request to underwriting.agency@qbe.com and copy your Agency Manager with the extension application form and below required information:
- Insured’s Name
- Policy Number
- Endorsement Limit Required
For any onward renewal policy, an option for extension is newly added on the renewal proposal form for your selection.

Flexibility on acceptance of risk
As a temporary measure, we will practise flexibility in accepting your risk with date stamp from the Post Office or time receipt of email or Whatsapp message screenshot.

Digital platforms, 24/7
Our digital platforms will remain accessible 24/7 to our partners and customers:
- Qnect – for agents/brokers to quote, manage policy/renewals/claims
- eClaims – for personal and business customers to file claims for all products
- eService – for personal customers to access policy information and download documents
Policy documents are available via email and our digital platforms. However, if hardcopy is required, we will arrange manpower to support the request.
Hong Kong office will close at 4:30 pm every Friday for colleagues to recharge and refresh.
