At QBE, we strive to proactively stay connected with our partners in time. In the fallout of COVID-19, please be informed that QBE Group Shared Services Centre (GSSC) in Philippines has confirmed its first case of infection with an employee. The GSSC provides a comprehensive range of Insurance Services such as policy administration, claims, finance etc and reports to QBE businesses globally.
Our office in Manila is undergoing a high level of cleaning and disinfection procedures so that our employees can return to a safe working environment. At this present moment, our Manila office is on work-from-home arrangement and our Cebu office is operating as normal and a number of our processes will transfer across to Cebu. Work will be routed back to onshore operations where necessary. While we have robust plans, procedures and various measures in place to minimize the disruptions to our services, please bear with us should we encounter some disruptions to the normal services level. We will keep you posted for further development of this situation.
