Last month, QBE Hong Kong launched exclusive protection for Manulife agents effective from January 1, 2025 (effective on the inception date). Agents can now enjoy the following additional coverage by insuring or renewing single trip or annual travel insurance policies, helping you attract more business during peak travel seasons."

To enhance the  claims process for domestic helpers while maintaining our service quality,  the outpatient benefits under the domestic helper insurance policy ( new or renewal policy)  will be changed from the UMP panel n to allowing you to select outpatient services of your choice effective from 1 March 2025,All claims for domestic helper insurance will be processed through QBE’s eClaims platform.  (NO UMP medical card will be issued).

To make it easier for agents to understand issuing the domestic helper insurance process, attached a domestic helper insurance lazy package. 

The promotion for Employee Compensation Insurance (ECI) is still ongoing until March 31, 2025. During this period, agents who issue new ECI  policies and submit renewal notices for existing company will enjoy a  10% discount  on the ECI premium based on the renewal notice's premium of existing company . This promotion is applicable to various industries and aims to assist agents in winning more new business opportunities, and achieve great results together.

Insuring Process: 
1. Issue quote in Qnect:

• Issue Quote via Qnect, and upload the “renewal notice” from other insurers in Qnect and remark “EC Price Match” in the Qnect referral to underwriters.

2. Issue quote in non Qnect:

• Remark “EC Price Match” in the Qnect referral to underwriters.
• Attach the “renewal notice” and send to [email protected]. 
• For gross premium over HK$30,000, please copy your RM in the email.
