We are pleased to receive feedback from agents on the use of our new QBE product - Qnect SME F&B Restaurant Package. The premium is almost 1 million Hong Kong dollar issued by Qnect SME F&B Restaurant Package. Tis is exciting news.

We have conducted a thorough business analysis and identified the following key points.

Main Highlights:

  1. Increase Commission: Compared to not selecting the Employees' Compensation Insurance, agents who add this coverage can earn a higher commission, with an average increase of HK$8,000. This finding further emphasizes the potential profit in promoting the Employees' Compensation Insurance.

  2. Increase policy conversion rate: 90% of quotes have an additional option to purchase Employees' Compensation Insurance. Based on our analysis, this selection can increase the policy conversion rate by over 10% for agents. Agents can proactively promote the Employees' Compensation Insurance to clients to enhance policy conversion rate.

  3. Target Customer Segment: In the analysis, it was found that the policy conversion rate of the customer base of Western Restaurants and Food and Beverage Takeaway Kiosk  is higher than that of other catering categories. Agents can develop this shops as potential clients to boost their performance.

QBE provides various discounts to all agents. Please seize this opportunity, work hard to expand the market and improve performance. The following are promotional offers:

Last month, QBE Hong Kong provided you with a market price comparison for Tesla and BYD electric vehicle insurance. This was to help agents quickly understand the pricing landscape for the electric vehicle market. We have now prepared an additional comparison of the market prices for three of the best-selling electric vehicle models expected to be launched in 12 to 24 months. Our aim is to further assist agents in securing more business.

Example based on the driver with 60% NCD and age 35-55.

Image  Asia is home to major manufacturing hubs and some of the world's largest ports, exerting significant influence across various commodity categories. It is noteworthy that container trade within Asia and with regions outside of Asia accounts for a substantial portion of global trade volumes. With the rise of major buyers such as China and India, Asia has become a primary importer of crude oil. Therefore, marine insurance is a crucial enabler of global trade facilitation, facilitating seamless cross-border transactions.
As the landscape continues to evolve, the Asia-Pacific region has emerged as a key player in the shipping and shipbuilding industries.
Agents can download the Marine Sector Report to enhance their and their clients' understanding of the relevant knowledge in this domain.
