Streamlining Process - Claims declaration questions for IRP product

Effective mid-April, agents will no longer be required to provide the contractors' last 3 years claims history, as it has been determined that this information holds limited relevance due to the relatively low value of the sum insured and the diverse nature of the projects involved. As a result, this modification has simplified the overall experience for agents.

In accordance with the requirements of the Insurance Authority, QBE will mail renewal reminders to customers with "Employee Compensation Insurance" coverage 30 days prior to the policy expiration date. The effective date of this implementation will be announced later.

Dear Manulife Agents:

As income tax filling for tax year 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024 is approaching, we would like to update you on QBE Hong Kong arrangement.

Agents with Earning Over HK$25,000
A hard copy of TAX RETURN REPORT will be mailed to your Manulife office and also will be emailed by "[email protected]" to you on or before 31 May 2024.

Agents with Earning Below HK$25,000
QBE Hong Kong will not be reporting the earnings to Inland Revenue Department, 
so you must file the income tax return on your own. 
The QBE HONG KONG LETTER stating your total earnings will be emailed by "[email protected]" to you on or before 31 May 2024.
