QBE Hong Kong has extended service hours for agents achieving good results in the FAE until October 31, 2024. Starting from November 1, 2024, service hours will return to normal. The following are the platform service hours:

1. Customer Service Hotline (+852 2828 0022): 9:00am - 5:30pm
2. Whatsapp online inquiry service ( 2828 1998 ): 9:00am - 5:30pm
3. Ask QBE: 9:00am - 5:30pm
4. Other department support services: 9:00am - 5:30pm

SME Industry PackageSME Business Insurance Solution (“New”) 2.1.	Change in Excess for Property Risk The latest water damage excess detail isupdatedfor building aged up to 2 yearsin Qnect and documents under Property & Liability risk Old Excess arrangement will be applicable to: Existing quotes, ONLY when liability or property risk is added Existing policies that will be endorsed or renewed Existing policies, when liability or property risk is added in endorsement or renewals Clone renewal
	Display Split Rate for EC risks EC rates by employee's category will be shown in Qnect for all quotes issued after 20 October 2024.
Interior Renovation Prestige ("IRP")All Business Insurance Solutions and Industry Package 2.1.	Change in Option for Referral Cases “Refer to Underwriter” option will only be provided for referrals, "Issue quote" option is no longer applicable.
	New Referral arrangement - Applied to policies with overdue payment If the policy has overdue premiums based on the intermediaries' credit period, any Qnectendorsements andrenewals will have to be referred to Underwriters and would not be able to process immediately in Qnect.

Starting from September 1, 2024 (  effective from issue date) ,  travel insurance will be updated according to the following schedule:

From September 1, 2024	( New Policy) Travel Insurance	Additional fees, known as premium loading, will be introduced forseniors. Seniorsaged between 70 and 79 will have a 12.5% increasein their insurance premiums. Seniorsaged 80 and above will face a 25% increasein their insurance premiums. TheCOVID-19 endorsementwill be removed.
From September 15, 2024	(Bronze plan) Single Trip Travel Insurance	Launched on Qnect.
From October 6, 2024	Single Trip Travel Insurance	The premiums for single-trip travel insurance policies with a duration exceeding 14 days will be revised.
(Effective from inception date) From November 1, 2024	(Renewal) Annual travel Insurance	Additional fees, known as premium loading, will be introduced for seniors. Seniors aged between 70 and 79 will have a 12.5% increase in their insurance premiums. Seniors aged 80 and above will face a 25% increase in their insurance premiums. The COVID-19 endorsement will be removed.
From January 1, 2025	Single Trip Travel Insurance	Group discount will be applicable for a group of 5 or more adult traveling companions travel together under a same policy.

Points not redeemed by the expiration date will expire, and rewards will not be issued. *Points earned in December 2024 will expire on January 31, 2025.
