Wage Roll Declaration arrangement

 

We have made the following enhancements to the Employees’ Compensation declaration arrangement, effective 1 December 2019.

 

  • For changes to the number of employees and their wages during the policy period, there will be no mid-term adjustment to the employees’ compensation insurance premium. The insurance premium will only be reviewed and adjusted at the end of the policy period.

  • Prior to the policy effective date, employers are required to submit a wage declaration with projected annual wages. Within 30 days from the policy expiry or cancellation date, employers would need to submit a Premium Adjustment and Declaration form stating the actual 12-month earnings of employees. The actual insurance premium will be adjusted based on this.

  • The above arrangements are not applicable to the industries listed below.  Please contact QBE Hong Kong for a written confirmation of the adjusted premium.

Employees Compensation Notice of Insurance

 

Effective 1 December 2019, for industries that are not listed in the above table, the Notice of Insurance (NI) will state policy coverage for “all employees”.  This will help reduce the policy administration work (such as updating the number of employees and wages during the policy period) and improve the efficiency. Please note that the existing method will keep using on the policy issued on before 1 December 2019.

Renewal Notice for December

 

The renewal notices for December 2019 have been issued by email. If you have not received these renewal notices yet, please contact your respective Relationship Manager at your earliest opportunity. You can also view the renewal notices on Qnect under the “Portfolio & Reports” function. 

We listen and deliver. We have taken into account your valuable feedback and have made the following enhancements to the Home Insurance policy wording for both new and renewal policies issued on Qnect, effective 18 August 2019.

 

  • Interior decorations are included to reassure customers of the all-round protection for Home Contents, from exquisite carpet to fancy lights, etc.
  • The Mortgage Clause has been built in to better facilitate customers’ mortgage loan applications.

Starting from December 2019, you will be able to download your Agent / Client Statement of Account on Qnect.
As part of our efforts to protect the environment, we will switch to paperless statements beginning 1 January 2020. This means that after the December statement, we will no longer send out paper statements.
