Important Announcement: QBE Singapore to discontinue the use of corporate cheques from 1 May 2025.
On 28 July 2023, the Monetary Authority of Singapore has announced an initiative to eliminate the use of all corporate cheques by the end of 20261,2. To support Singapore’s Smart Nation vision, QBE Singapore will cease issuing and receiving cheques in Singapore dollars effective 1 May 2025.
