Since the launch of the 10% discount on employee compensation insurance (ECI) premiums, the plan has received a warm response and helped many agents to get business successfully. QBE Hong Kong announced that this discount will be extended from now on to December 31, 2025. Agents issue new ECI  policies and submit renewal notices for existing company will enjoy a  10% discount  on the ECI premium based on the renewal notice's premium of existing company . This promotion is applicable to various industries and aims to assist agents in winning more new business opportunities, and achieve great results together.

 

 

Insuring Process: 
1. Issue quote in Qnect:

• Issue Quote via Qnect, and upload the “renewal notice” from other insurers in Qnect and remark “EC Price Match” in the Qnect referral to underwriters.

2. Issue quote in non Qnect:

• Remark “EC Price Match” in the Qnect referral to underwriters.
• Attach the “renewal notice” and send to [email protected].

For gross premium over HK$30,000, please copy your RM in the email.

To enhance the  claims process for domestic helpers while maintaining our service quality,  the outpatient benefits under the domestic helper insurance policy ( new or renewal policy)  will be changed from the UMP panel  to allowing you to select outpatient services of your choice effective from 1 March 2025.  Relative UMP service cannot be used include  UMP medical card and additional offers to subscribe to health check-up and vaccination at special prices. When applying for Malpractice Liability Chinese Practitioner (CMP)  insurance, it is no longer necessary to submit a copy of client's HKID card and copy of CMP practising certificate . This change aims to simplify the insurance application process and protect personal data, making it more convenient for Chinese practitioners to purchase medical liability insurance.

Lazy package of Interior Renovation Prestige

The SME sector is at the heart of Hong Kong’s economy—and a key pillar of our growth strategy at QBE Hong Kong. We are delighted to share the launch of our7th Annual SME Survey, a key initiative that reinforces our commitment to this vital segment and aligns with our strategic objective to expand the SME business. Key findings from the survey: Almost 60% of survey respondents say increased costs and reduced profitability is a challenge, with about half finding cash flow and access to funding a challenge. To counter these issues, many continue to implement a wide range of measures, including the use of AI to support business productivity. While AI is having a positive impact on Hong Kong SMEs, risks loom, with the proportion of respondents concerned about AI-associated threats increasing. Fortunately, awareness of cyber risks is on the rise, as is the proportion of Hong Kong SMEs purchasing insurance as a means of protecting their businesses from these threats.
