Mox Unveils Travel Pick & Go Annual Plan with
All-Inclusive Coverage and 1:1 Asia Miles Reward

Hong Kong , 30 June 2026 —Mox Bank Limited ("Mox") today announced the launch of its new Travel Pick & Go Annual Plan, a fully end-to-end digital travel insurance experience integrated within the Mox app. Underwritten by QBE Hongkong & Shanghai Insurance Limited (“QBE”), the annual plan covers unlimited trips over 12 months with comprehensive protection, including medical coverage and 24/7 emergency support, making customers’ year-round travel effortless, secure, and rewarding.
To mark the launch, Mox is rolling out an exclusive campaign from today to 31 July 2026, offering eligible customers a 1:1 Asia Miles reward on the premium paid. By linking a valid Cathay Membership Account to their Mox account, customers successfully enrolling the Travel Pick & Go Annual Plan will earn 1 Asia Mile for every HKD1 spent on their premium.
Five Fan-Favourite Add-ons Now Included as Standard
Mox developed the Travel Pick & Go Annual Plan by analysing real-world customer habits. Data from Mox's existing single-trip travel insurance showed that over 50% of customers chose to customise their protection with one or more add-on coverages.
In response to this customer demand, Mox packaged all five of these top-rated add-ons directly into the Annual Plan at no extra cost:
- Theft of Mobile Phone: Up to HKD8,000 in coverage
- Fraudulent Use of Personal Credit Cards: Up to HKD10,000 in coverage
- Food Poisoning Allowance: Full medical coverage and up to HKD1,000 cash allowance
- Adventurous Sports Extension1: Full medical cost coverage
- Missed Event: Up to HKD12,000 in coverage
Offering up to 40% savings with premiums starting from just HKD1,300
The Travel Pick & Go Annual Plan offers flexibility, allowing unlimited trips per year, with a maximum of 90 days per trip. During the launch period, Mox customers can enjoy an attractive discount of up to 40% across three plan tiers:
| Annual Plan | Discount | Asia (Premium after discount) | Worldwide (Premium after discount) |
| Basic | 20% off | HKD 1,300 | HKD 1,700 |
| Value | 30% off | HKD 1,800 | HKD 2,200 |
| Max | 40% off | HKD 2,100 | HKD 2,500 |
Paperless, 5-day Direct Claim Payouts
Mox customers can manage their entire journey - from instant enrolment to claim submission - fully within the Mox app. The platform has an outstanding record: across Mox’s existing travel insurance, 98% of claims are processed within 5 working days2. Approved claims are paid directly and securely into the customer's Mox account, bypassing physical paperwork and lengthy waiting periods.
Comprehensive Travel Delay Coverage
The Annual Plan covers a wide range of travel delays – whether caused by airline operational issues, the late arrival of a connecting carrier, or unexpected bottlenecks at airport security, ensuring peace of mind from departure to arrival.
Mox+ customers receive premium upgraded benefits at no extra cost, doubling the policy’s standard coverage for mobile phone theft and fraudulent use of credit cards to HKD 16,000 and HKD 20,000 respectively.
Jayant Bhatia, Chief Business Officer of Mox, said, "We noticed that more than half of our single-trip customers were already adding extra coverages to tailor their protection. Rather than making customers pay more for what they clearly want, we built the five most popular add-on coverages into the Annual Plan as standard. For anyone who travels regularly, this turns insurance from a trip-by-trip purchase into year-round protection that’s genuinely effortless."
Lei Yu, CEO of QBE North Asia, said, "We are delighted to deepen our strategic bancassurance partnership with Mox through the launch of the Travel Pick & Go Annual Plan. By bringing together Mox’s digital-first experience, and QBE’s thoughtfully designed insurance coverage and world-class claims experience, we have created a seamless journey that offers customers greater convenience and flexibility – supporting them wherever they go and however long they choose to travel."
Continuing to expand "Mox Insure"
The Travel Pick & Go Annual Plan is the latest milestone under "Mox Insure". Mox established its exclusive strategic bancassurance partnership for general insurance with QBE, beginning with the rollout of the "Personal Accident Cushion" and then the "Travel Pick & Go" single-trip product. Looking ahead, Mox and QBE will continue to expand their digital portfolio with a new Home Insurance product scheduled to launch in the coming months.
