LMI fact sheet
There can be some uncertainty around what LMI is and what it covers. Our LMI fact sheet answers commonly asked questions.
These forms are designed to streamline the application process and make it easier to do business with us.
You can also submit your proposal via Lite eBusiness or our B2B eBusiness solution. Speak to your LMI Partnership Manager if you don’t have access to these portals.
Before you enter into an insurance contract with us, you have a duty to tell us anything that you know, or could reasonably be expected to know, that may affect our decision to insure you and on what terms. Read more about your Duty of Disclosure.
Hardship and repayment assistance
At QBE LMI we’re committed to making the dream of home ownership a reality for more Australians and we recognise the importance of supporting borrowers experiencing genuine hardship. We’re focused on ensuring that we’re easy to do business with and are providing all the support that our partners need to assist their customers.
In line with this focus, the way we consider Hardship Repayment Assistance has changed. The below document outlines these changes.
QBE LMI insured loans that are 90 days in arrears or more need to be reported to us each month.
When sending your monthly Arrears report, please ensure it is encrypted and the password is sent separately.
Claim forms and tools
If the worst comes to pass and you need to make a claim, the documents below outline the claims process and the steps you need to take to lodge a claim.
You can also submit your claim via LMI Connect. Speak to your LMI Partnership Manager if you don’t have access to LMI Connect.
Capital Market forms
To allow you to prepare your loan pool data we have created templates and guidelines which will reduce the amount of effort required and streamline the end-to-end process.
