New Independent Non-Executive Director appointed to QBE Capital Board

QBE Insurance Group Limited (QBE) is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael McGuire as Independent Non-Executive Director to the QBE Capital Board, effective March 1, 2025.

Based in Bermuda, Michael recently served as Group CFO at Sompo International Holdings and formerly Endurance Specialty Holdings, where he spent more than 21 years in roles of progressive responsibility, following nearly 10 years with Deloitte, LLP in accounting, audit and M&A advisory positions. His technical skills and strategic financial leadership have driven substantial growth and value in his previous roles. Michael is a certified public accountant with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Saint Mary’s College of California.

QBE Capital is QBE’s Bermuda domiciled captive reinsurer.
