QBE Group Board Director Update

QBE Insurance Group Limited today announced that Kathy Lisson will step down from the QBE Group Board at the completion of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 8 May 2026, following her decision to retire.

Mike Wilkins, Chairman of the QBE Group Board, said, “On behalf of the Board, I thank Kathy for her significant contribution and the expertise she brought to QBE. Her counsel on technology and transformation, together with her perspectives on governance, have been highly valued, and we wish her all the best in her retirement.” 

Ms Lisson has a long history with QBE having joined the QBE Group Board as a Non-Executive Director in 2016, and up until 2011, was Chief Operating Officer for the QBE European Operations.

QBE regularly reviews the composition of its Board, with a focus on maintaining appropriate skills, experience and strong governance and are currently undertaking a search for a suitable replacement.
