QBE Insurance and Velocity Frequent Flyer join forces to unlock major Points play for policyholders

QBE Insurance and Virgin Australia’s Velocity Frequent Flyer loyalty program are giving Aussies a new way to earn Points when insuring what matters most.
Millions of Aussies can now earn Points when they take out eligible QBE home, car or small business insurance.
New QBE customers can earn up to 80,000 Velocity Points across eligible new home and Comprehensive Car Insurance policies online from QBE^ - that’s 30,000 Points per policy, plus an additional 10,000 Points per policy upon renewal - enough Points for four one-way Economy Reward Seats with Virgin Australia from Brisbane to Fiji[1].
The offer extends to Virgin Australia Business Flyer members – the airline’s loyalty program for small business owners – who can earn up to 15,000 Velocity Points on eligible small business insurance, plus an additional 5,000 Points upon renewal, helping business owners turn everyday cover into rewards.
Jo Hatcher, Managing Director, Consumer for QBE Australia Pacific, said the relationship reflects QBE’s commitment to delivering value and convenience to Australian consumers.
“We’re thrilled to be collaborating with Velocity Frequent Flyer. This arrangement makes it easier for members to access trusted insurance solutions from QBE, while also rewarding them for their loyalty.”
“By teaming up with Velocity, we’re able to connect with millions of Australians through a program they already know and value,” Ms Hatcher said.
Velocity Frequent Flyer CEO Nick Rohrlach added, “We're always looking for ways to reward our members in everyday moments that matter, especially at a time when households are looking for more value from every dollar they spend."
“Together with QBE, essentials like home, car or business insurance can earn members tens of thousands of Velocity Points, helping millions of Australians make the most of the cover they already pay for and bringing them one step closer to their next holiday," Mr Rohrlach said.
