QBE ready to support customers impacted by extreme weather in NSW

QBE is ready to support customers impacted by the recent flooding across the Mid-North Coast and Hunter regions of New South Wales.
Our Catastrophe Response Plan is in place, with additional claims specialists, property assessors, and partner builders on standby. Our teams will be on the ground to assist as soon as it is safe to do so.
QBE Chief Executive Officer, AUSPAC, Sue Houghton, said the safety of the community is the immediate priority.
“We urge all affected customers to follow the advice of emergency services and prioritise their safety. Once safe, please contact us to lodge a claim – we’re here to provide support to those impacted,” Ms Houghton said.
“We’ve mobilised additional team members to help take calls and process claims and we will be on the ground as soon as we can access affected areas.”
QBE is issuing proactive advice to customers and partners via brokers, SMS alerts and social media and we will continue to provide ongoing updates and support resources across our digital channels.
If you’ve been impacted by the floods and need to make a claim, please contact us as soon as you’re safe and able to do so.
