The QBE Foundation has awarded $600,000 through its 2026 local grants program to support twelve charity and community organisations across Australia.

Successful recipients will each receive $50,000 to expand initiatives that help strengthen inclusion and climate resilience, with the program also providing QBE employees an opportunity to nominate charities they are passionate about for funding through the Employee Choice category.

Chris Esson, Co-Chair of the AUSPAC QBE Foundation, said the strong response of more than 500 expressions of interest received this year, reflects the breadth and quality of community-led initiatives being delivered across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.

“The response to this year’s program reflects the depth of commitment and innovation across the community sector.

“Our annual local grants program enables community organisations to expand their impact and deliver lasting benefits to the people and places that need support most.

“The twelve organisations selected this year are addressing complex challenges, strengthening community resilience and creating opportunities for people to thrive. We are proud to support their efforts and look forward to seeing the positive outcomes their initiatives will deliver.”
