BNM’s Interim Measures for Medical Health Insurance

Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), in collaboration with the Life Insurance Association of Malaysia (LIAM), the Malaysian Takaful Association (MTA), and Persatuan Insurans Am Malaysia (PIAM), has introduced interim measures to support policyholders affected by premium adjustments for Medical and Health Insurance/Takaful (MHIT) products. These initiatives aim to address public concerns about rising premiums and the financial burden they place on individuals and families.
