New coverage for architectural, engineering & contractor professionals
QBE North America, an integrated specialist insurer, today announced a strategic program underwriting alliance with Huntersure LLC, to offer its Professional Liability coverage for small to mid-size architectural, engineering and contractor businesses nationwide through Huntersure. The initiative to continually expand its innovative portfolio demonstrates QBE North America's distinctive ability to nimbly respond to the evolving market needs of our customers. This coverage will be provided on a non-admitted basis through QBE North America's A.M. Best "A" rated insurance companies.
Huntersure has over 10 years of experience offering a wide array of insurance products in the professional liability space. Huntersure will underwrite these risks and offer coverage for these accounts through a variety of specialized distribution sources including retail and wholesale partners.
The program appetite includes professional liability insurance products for architects, engineers, surveyors, planners and other design professionals. In addition, professional liability insurance is offered for contractors operating in the agricultural, residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, heavy civil, and environmental sectors.
