Motor Claims

Lodging a motor claim is now simpler & faster

Do

Make sure you are safe & report to the police immediately.

It is also advisable to record the below:

  • Particulars and nature of any bodily injury involved (if any)
  • Vehicle registration numbers for all vehicles involved in the incident (if any)
  • Contact details of all other parties involved (if any)
  • Take photos of the damaged parts, collision point, and road condition

If the other party is at fault, you will have to lodge a complaint to the police within 10 days.

Customers with comprehensive cover may select a panel repairer ( windscreen only / non-windscreen ) that provides you with one-off claims & repair service. Alternatively, you may contact your own repairer (subject to your policy wording) and lodge a claim yourself.

Don't

  • Do not make/receive any admission, offer, promise, payment, or indemnity with any party without the prior consent of QBE Hong Kong.
  • Do not dispute liability with the third party.
  • Do not move the vehicle unless the vehicle is at an unsafe place.
