People

Our global People teams support leaders to leverage our talented employees to deliver sustained high performance. Through a partnership model we consult to leaders, so they can build a constructive culture and achieve the business objectives. Key strategic initiatives are created and delivered in the areas of organisational development, talent acquisition, inclusion of diversity, performance & reward, employee experience, learning and development, People metrics and reporting, and talent development and succession planning.

The People function enables an employee experience that ensures QBE meets its strategic objectives and delivers for its customers and shareholders.

Finance

Our global Finance teams are proud to deliver financial services, including financial analysis, strategy and advice and financial control through business partnering, business intelligence and benchmarking.

We partner with the business to report on the key financial metrics that drive our performance and forecast our financial outlook.  Our financial control teams ensure QBE have adequate financial controls in place to ensure accurate reporting of financials to all external stakeholders.

Our Group finance team provides a wide range of opportunities in group treasury, group actuarial, internal audit, investor relations, investments, reinsurance and QBE ventures.

Legal

Our global Legal teams have a wide remit, providing commercial and claims legal services to the business and managing corporate governance, ensuring effective management of legal and regulatory risk.   We have company secretarial teams supporting our Group and subsidiary Boards.

Our Group Legal team supports our treasury, investments and ventures teams, in addition to M&A.

Risk

Our global Risk team provides ‘second line of defence’ activities including the identification, monitoring and assessment of major risks and the maintenance of effective governance frameworks to support compliance and regulatory requirements.  

It is a multi-disciplinary team covering privacy, risk culture, regulatory risk, ESG risk, financial risk, capital modelling, fraud and security.

Communications and Marketing

We have a variety of marketing and communications roles across the organisation.

Within our Group Corporate Affairs and Sustainability team, we have teams focussed on Brand, corporate internal and external communications, digital content and sustainability.

Within our business units, there are teams focussed on communications and consumer and business marketing.
