Double delight for QBE at CQIB awards

QBE Insurance has been acknowledged for all-round performance and service excellence, collecting two awards at the Council of Queensland Insurance Broker (CQIB) annual Queensland Day Awards, announced at a gala event at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre last night. 

QBE took out the prestigious All-rounder of the Year Award, which is based on the performance of insurers over the past 12 months across a number of measures, including levels of security, range of products, service levels, claims administration, accounts, communication, price and availability of senior management. 

The award is voted by CQIB members representing more than 60 brokerages across the state. 

Melissa Denison from QBE’s Townsville office was also acknowledged with The Mick Lambert Barker Award, presented to a staff member of a CQIB Business Partner for “Service above and beyond”.  

Executive General Manager Intermediary Distribution, Jason Clarke, said the awards were testament to the tireless effort of the team over the past 12 – 18 months. 

“This is fantastic recognition for our Queensland team. Congratulations to Regional Manager Craig Mauger and the entire team for their efforts in a challenging environment, ensuring we work with our broker partners to deliver great customer outcomes,” Mr Clarke said. 

“I’d like to extend thanks to the CQIB board and members for the acknowledgement and their continued support.”
