QBE announces new Executive General Manager, Marketing

QBE Australia is pleased to announce the appointment of Bettina Pidcock to the newly created role of Executive General Manager, Marketing.

This key role will be instrumental in enhancing our brand, helping to drive further growth and delivering excellent customer experiences.

Formerly the Head of Marketing for ANZ Wealth, Bettina has a depth of marketing experience spanning her career at ANZ, TAL, BT Financial Group, St George Bank, Westpac and MLC.

She has a strong track record in delivering increased engagement through new and innovative market strategies, data-led insights and leadership.

On announcing Bettina’s appointment today, CEO of QBE's Australian and New Zealand Operations Tim Plant said: "The creation of this role comes at a time when we are strengthening our efforts to understand our customers' preferences to ensure we can provide them with the most relevant options to meet their needs.

"Bettina's experience will play a vital role in helping us increase our capability to deliver great experiences for our people, customers and the community."

The role is a member of QBE Australia and New Zealand’s executive. Bettina will be based in Sydney and commence on 18 January 2016.
