New Workers Compensation General Manager appointed
QBE is pleased to announce a new General Manager for Workers Compensation.
Andrew Borden has been appointed to the Melbourne-based role effective 21 March 2016. He brings with him nearly 20 years of experience in the insurance industry with over half of that spent in the Workers Compensation sector, across rehabilitation, claims and underwriting.
Andrew has been with QBE for the past three years, most recently as Regional Manager, Intermediary Distribution, Victoria and Tasmania where he established an exceptional reputation in the broker market.
QBE Australia’s Executive General Manager, Intermediary Distribution, Jason Clarke said: “We are extremely fortunate to have Andrew take up this key role leading our national Workers Compensation team.

Andrew takes over from Jason Hammond, who was recently appointed to the newly created role of General Manager, Broker Distribution.
