Regional Manager, Northern Broker Distribution, appointed for AU and NZ division

QBE Australia and New Zealand has announced that Craig Mauger has been appointed to the position of Regional Manager, Northern Region Broker Distribution.

Mauger joins QBE’s Intermediary Distribution business unit, having spent seven years in the Elders Insurance business where he was the Regional Manager, Eastern Region for the past three years. Prior to this he was their Senior Agency Development Manager.

Mauger has extensive industry experience, holding previous positions as SME Manager, Distribution Services with National Transport Insurance and Operations Manager with MYI Freemans.

QBE General Manager Broker Distribution, Intermediary Distribution Jason Hammond said: “Craig has a wealth of industry experience and strengths in relationship management and delivering great customer outcomes.

“Craig brings a strong level of leadership to the role and will be a valuable addition to the Broker Distribution National Leadership Team. Having been based in our Brisbane office, Craig is well known to the team in Queensland and is excited about the opportunity to work with the team to deliver on our 2018 plans.”

Mauger commenced in the position on 27 November 2017.
