QBE duo shine bright at PIEF Awards
QBE Service Manager, Raquel Kearns, took home the Emerging Leader award, which acknowledges the outstanding contribution of an emerging people leader who contributes to the industry through exemplary leadership, strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement and demonstrates a passion for the development of individual teams.
Business Relationship Manager, David Daugherty, won the Student Excellence award, which acknowledges a student enrolled in a vocational or postgraduate program who has shown outstanding academic performance, an excellent understanding of the industry and successfully applied learnings from the programs in their workplace.
Launched in 2008, the PIEF Awards consist of nine categories that celebrate and showcase the outstanding achievements of the Personal Injury and Disability Management industry.
Interim Executive General Manager Consumer & Retail Partnerships, Eleanor Debelle, said the awards were testament to the huge effort put in by the Newcastle-based ifNSW team.
