QBE’s inclusive employee network celebrated at Australian LGBTI Awards
QBE Insurance (QBE) has been named winner of the ‘LGBTI Employee Network Award’ at the 2019 Australian LGBTI Awards, following a ceremony at The Star Sydney on Friday evening.
The award recognises QBE’s LGBTIQ+ inclusive culture and the innovative approach taken by its employee pride network, including QBE’s ‘bring your whole self to work’ initiative which showcases the power and importance of LGBTIQ+ visibility in inclusive workplace culture.
QBE Australia Pacific Chief HR Officer, Eleanor Debelle, said the award is a testament to the work of QBE’s Pride Committee as well as the support from the broader employee network.

Members of the QBE Pride Committee and its key partners attended the awards ceremony to accept the award on behalf of the organisation and celebrated with a star-studded list of community leaders, celebrities and high-profile organisations.
