Who is Natalie Lopresti?
I’m Natalie, an “insurance” graduate from the 2020 QBE graduate cohort. I graduated from university with a Bachelor of Commerce and really didn’t know what career I wanted.

I successfully applied for the QBE graduate program, and early in the program, I unexpectedly fell in love with marine underwriting. This is a job I had no idea existed before joining QBE.
After the graduate program
I was delighted to accept a position as a marine underwriter after the graduate program and I’ve since been promoted to senior underwriter; from which I have started my people leadership journey.

If you’re looking to join the QBE graduate program, my advice is to ‘be a sponge’ and soak up as much information as possible. It’s important to go in open minded and take opportunities that come your way, as you’ll discover jobs that you didn’t even know existed, like I did.
