When you live in Australia, you can expect severe weather to hit from time to time. That’s why we’ve pulled together our dedicated weather event pages, including practical guides to help you prepare and recover from these events, along with important contacts and claims information for when it matters most.

If you've been affected
Make sure your loved ones, pets, and neighbours are safe.
For help in an emergency, call State Emergency Services on 132 500 from anywhere in Australia.
For the latest weather updates, listen to your local radio station or visit the Bureau of Meteorology website. You can find other emergency and support contacts at the bottom of this page.
See our weather alerts page for current events. Learn how we're responding, and what to do if you're affected and need to claim.
